Piper PA28 Cherokee
Piper PA28 Cherokee is one of the most common propeller driven aircrafts in the world. It is a four seat, single engine, whole metal aircraft with low wings and a stabilizer. It comes in several models with different engine options and instruments. It also comes with constant speed propeller and a retractable landing gear. The first version to fly did so in 1960 and since then over 30 000 planes have been manufactured.
This technical course is developed to give you knowledge of the aircrafts system and how to use them. The course also includes an operating course to give you knowledge of all procedures. The source of the course is the Pilot Operating Handbook for a PA-28-181. You can download this file together with other manuals in our training archive. The course contains four presentations:
- System descriptions
- Normal procedures
- Emergence procedures
- Performance calculations
This technical course is estimated to take 6 hours to complete and is examined by a technical test including 40 multiple choice questions.
If you take this course through one of our business partners or contracted aeroclubs their operating manual will be highlighted together with differences. Here you can also do a check ride with an flight instructor.
